The role is supporting the business of a market leading pharmaceutical manufacturer of Parenteral Nutrition, Chemotherapy and CIVAS which provide batch and bespoke items for adults, paediatrics and neonates to both NHS and private hospitals. This is a pivotal role within the organisation and requires an experienced administrator to be able to proactively multitask while remaining extremely organised and working to time sensitive deadlines. The key tasks are: Administration - Assist the Leadership team with organisational and administrative tasks, including minute taking, distribution of minutes and supporting the senior management team with personal administration as required. Further prepare material for all meetings ensure all participants are invited and room booking are made, including logistics of attendees. Communication - is key with you being the key point of contact for the leadership team, manage internal communication, chase internal/external responses to requests, greet visitors, and cover reception as required to ensure continuity. The role also supports our online pharmacy division as and when necessary. Organisation - you will need to be very organised, managing multiple diaries and schedules including organising companywide meetings, managing multiple internal committees, being involved in the organisation and management of a number of company events and supporting the implementation of our communication plan. This is not an exhaustive list, and a full job description is available but as you can imagine the role requires flexibility and the ability to think on your feet and support the senior management team with tasks as they arise. You will need to be an experienced administrator having worked supporting the senior management of a business. Experience in a manufacturing and regulated environment would also be desirable. You will also have advanced IT skills and be an excellent communicator and be able to produce accurate documents from minutes, dictation or amend existing documents to ensure total accuracy. You will be able to work to a changing workload and be able to prioritise tasks while juggling changing deadlines. You will also be able to manage multiuser inputs to projects and ensure projects are completed on time. Handle returned medicines, waste and rubbish appropriately, dealing with spillage and debris efficiently and appropriately. Carry out good housekeeping procedures regularly and effectively maintaining the appearance of the pharmacy and other areas. As a Pharmaceutical Final Checker, you will be performing in-process checks and the final check of aseptically manufactured products. All aspects of these checks are to be in accordance with the company's quality assurance system. Your main duties would include : To final check aseptically dispensed products in accordance with defined procedures and approved methods; this will include an appreciation of the use of automated equipment used during manufacture. To perform in-process checks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). To ensure that all products are produced and stored according to appropriate documentation to maintain the right quality. To reconcile raw materials/ingredients of compounded products. The Person - Skills and Qualities Required Applicants must have strong numeracy skills.
