We are currently looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our logistics team as a Finished Goods Warehouse Operative. You will be working at our Hamilton in Leicester. PURPOSE To ensure the achievement of safety, quality and efficiency aims related to production in accordance with the Group s policies. This role is located at our Hamilton Plant. This role is for a hand-on and organised individual with a keen eye for attention to detail. You will find yourself managing the goods storage in the warehouse and prepare the loading area to fulfil the high production demands in compliance with working instructions, safety guidelines and ISO 9001 standards. The successful candidate will be working with a team of driven individuals to ensure safety, storage and dispatch of finished goods, you will be acting as the final checkpoint before our products are distributed. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Operator forklift trucks and other material handling equipment such as reel clamps and PPTs. Move the pallets around the facility and stow them in the correct storage bays, ensuring space optimization. Manage the warehouse operations in line with the system requirements and work instructions. In compliance with the loading schedule prepare the loading area, ensuring load is correct and documentation is signed. Load trucks if and when required. Perform daily equipment checks identifying and reporting and damages and faults to maintain daily functioning. Ensure that all required documentation is completed efficiently and accurately. Observe the products to identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies. Carry out periodic stocktaking activities and any other reasonable requests. Work closely and in cooperation with the Day services and Shift teams, supporting colleagues throughout. Continually ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained throughout all working areas. Ensure Health & Safety rules are always adhered to by yourself and others. REQUIREMENTS Must have prior experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence . Show attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork Run quality check of all incoming goods Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults .
