Your main duty as a Senior Systems Engineer is to undertake work on Security & Fire Systems that mainly falls into the below categories: • Planned preventative maintenance/servicing of systems. • Installation of systems. • Repair of systems. • Leadership and on-site management of works. You are expected to hold and maintain high levels of service and always represent the goals and visions of the company. Some additional key duties and responsibilities as a Senior: • Feedback progress of engineers you are leading to operational management. • Ensure you are maintaining the balance of allowing those less experienced to lead at times while providing guidance when necessary. • Be the key point of contact for issues while on jobs and provide experienced insight to operational staff of potential problems on the horizon, if applicable. • Lead multiple member teams and sub-contractors, if necessary, while enforcing the high standard of work required by the company.

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team delivering high-quality fire detection, alarm, and life safety services across a range of commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and repair of fire alarm and related systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations . Key Responsibilities Install, commission, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and associated life safety equipment in accordance with relevant British Standards (e.g., BS 5839) and industry best practice . Required Skills & Experience Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar role in the fire and life safety industry . Strong practical knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems, including installation, servicing, fault diagnosis, and remedial work . Familiarity with a range of fire system manufacturers and products is desirable. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks. Full, clean UK driving licence is essential. Qualifications & Certifications (Preferred) BAFE, FIA, City & Guilds, or equivalent industry recognised certification . Relevant electrical, fire systems, or technical qualifications. The Asbestos Surveyor will identify, assess, and document asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), supporting clients in managing asbestos risks safely and legally. Key Responsibilities: Carry out Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in line with HSE guidance. Inspect and assess buildings for the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). Take bulk samples of suspect materials safely for laboratory analysis. Use survey software or data capture tools to record findings and produce clear, detailed reports. Liaise with clients, site personnel, and contractors to coordinate access and ensure minimal disruption. Assess the condition, location, and type of ACMs and determine appropriate risk assessments.
