Job description our client, a national contractor has an immediate requirement for a facades Site Manager on a large residential project. The role will be fantastic for those with proven rainscreen cladding management that are seeking a role with great prospects. Candidates applying should have direct knowledge of cladding from a trade /fixer background to management. Successful candidates must have a CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS and first aid, as well as some previous experience in a similar role for a recognised contractor. Your role will include overseeing and managing, labour, quality and programme. You must be personable, professional and able to communicate effectively at all levels. A good/basic working knowledge of basic I.T. applications, especially Word and Outlook is also essential. Candidate must be able to communicate at different levels, from managing and pushing sub-contractors to liaising with management. You must have the background to understand construction techniques and check quality and also driven enough to ensure works get pushed. The ability to think on your feet and take a common sense approach around site is essential. Essential for the role: Applicants must have proven experience working in a similar role. CSCS Card Ideally SMSTS and first aid Site Construction experience, Have an eye for detail Applicant must be proficient in the use of IT applications, such as Word and Outlook Applicants must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written. Job Title: Electrical Estimator About the Role We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our Pre-Contract/Estimating team within a leading building services engineering business. You will play a key role in driving the tendering process for electrical building services packages across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and leisure. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end preparation of competitive, accurate and comprehensive tenders. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed tender bids, cost plans and pricing documentation for electrical building services works. Manage the day-to-day tender process to ensure quality, accuracy and timely submission of proposals. Attend mid- and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders. Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers; develop new supply chain contacts where required. Review tender documentation including specifications, preliminaries, terms & conditions, and relevant technical criteria (e.g., BREEAM, Part L, fire strategy). Ensure all commercial and technical risks are identified, allowed for, and clearly articulated in submissions. Support post-tender activities, including clarifications, value engineering and bid analysis. Work collaboratively within integrated mechanical & electrical (M&E) teams. Required Skills & Experience Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services and associated systems. Proven experience in building services estimating or a similar pre-construction role. Commercial acumen with the ability to produce financially robust tenders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Competent in use of estimating software (experience with systems like Trimble Estimation or similar preferred) and electronic tender control platforms. Organised and able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment. A team player with a proactive, solution-focused approach. Desirable Attributes Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering services beneficial (for integrated M&E bids). Understanding of industry standards and compliance criteria (e.g., Smart Building Technologies, Nabers).
