Due to continued growth plans they now seek an Assistant Estimator to join their pre-construction department. Duties for the Assistant Estimator: Dealing with initial tender and quotation enquiries Liaising directly with clients to establish their specific needs Carrying out site surveys Dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure best value and quality is achieved Overseeing tender submission process to ensure highest quality and most competitive bids are submitted Support of Project Managers for submission of valuations, variations, and Final Accounts Direct input to the senior management team and help in their ongoing continuous improvement drive Requirements for the Assistant Estimator: A minimum of 2-3years experience within a subcontracting environment ideally working within the commercial fit out sectors. Estimator Natural Stone Products Job Title: Estimator Natural Stone Location: North London Salary: £50,000 £60,000 + bonuses The role of Estimator Natural Stone Products will involve: Estimator dealing with a high end quality manufactured range of natural stone block, brick and masonry products. Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required Using tools such as Excel and CAD / Bluebeam Liaising with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices Producing formal quotations to clients Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met Working on projects between £10k £2M Requirements for the Estimator: Must have estimating experience within the stone sector. Ideally had experience within the building product sectors Ideally have with Bluebeam estimating software or similar. IT Literate (Particularly Excel)

About your new role: Due to continued growth and successfully securing a number of new projects our client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Duties for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor: You will be responsible for managing costs and budgets, overseeing subcontractor contracts and valuations, mitigating financial risks, and liaising with main contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of heritage & building restoration projects. Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor: You will need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, strong IT skills and good technical knowledge. Proficient with MS Office packages Team player Previous experience in heritage / building restoration / conservation / external refurbishment projects. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Experience with a specialist subcontractor within external or internal refurbishment contractor or main contractor.
