The Opportunity London Fire Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Estimating & Sales Executive to join our growing team in Gillingham, Kent. This role is ideal for someone at an early stage in their career who wants to build experience in estimating, technical sales, and customer support within a regulated construction and manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced estimators and sales professionals, receiving structured training and clear progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing accurate and timely quotations by reviewing customer specifications and project information. Support the sales and Business Development teams by managing quotation activity and responding to basic technical and commercial queries. Maintain and update sales and quotation data using HubSpot CRM. Help communicate product features and benefits clearly to customers over the phone and via email. Support follow-ups on quotations, spares, and upselling opportunities. Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to gather information needed for pricing and quotations. Feed customer and market feedback back into the business as experience grows. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills. Willingness to learn technical products, compliance requirements, and estimating processes. Confident telephone manner with clear written and verbal communication. Proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets; CRM experience is a bonus but not essential. Experience & Requirements 1 2 years experience in a sales support, estimating, customer service, or technical admin role (or a relevant qualification). Interest in construction, manufacturing, or technical products. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office; CRM exposure desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided fire door or passive fire experience is not required. We are recruiting experienced Fire Door Carpenters to carry out remedial repairs and installation of fire-rated doors and screens. This is price work, meaning the harder and more efficiently you work, the more you earn. There is a strong pipeline of work already in place, with current operatives consistently earning between £1,500 and £3,000 per week. (can be evidenced) What You ll Be Doing Fire door remedial repairs (gaps, seals, ironmongery, closers, glazing, adjustments) Installation of fire-rated timber doorsets and fire-rated screens Ensuring all works meet BM TRADA / FIRAS and manufacturer standards Recording works completed with photos and certification Working in occupied buildings with a professional, resident-friendly approach What We re Looking For Proven experience working on fire-rated doors and screens Strong understanding of fire door remedial works and compliance NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience) FIRAS / BM TRADA trained (or willing to obtain) Self-motivated, reliable and quality-driven Full UK driving licence What We Offer Price work uncapped earning potential £1,500 £3,000 per week achievable for the right operatives Long-term, consistent workload (not stop-start) Company van, fuel card, and uniform Ongoing training and progression within a specialist fire protection business About Us London Fire Solutions is a leading passive fire protection specialist, delivering compliant fire door manufacture, installation and remedial services across London and the South East.
