Senior Software Developer GIS / Geospatial - Java / Python or JavaScript Duration: Initially 6 months (project scope for 12-24 months) Rate: (Apply online only) per day, Outside IR35 Location: Fully Remote (UK based) We are looking to secure the services of a Senior software Developer with experience of leading front and back-end development. You'll join a project team working on Geospatial data transformation for a high-profile Government program, therefore you MUST have experience in Geospatial using Postgres/PostGIS. The Software Developer must be experienced in using a majority of Java, Javascript, Python, CSS, Docker, Azure or AWS, or be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of similar tools to adopt these quickly. You must also be familiar with Postgres and PostGIS. You'll need to be able to pick up existing codebases, and improve / amend them, as well as develop and implement new features. Geospatial experience is a requirement, given the nature of the work. The Software Developer will need to be comfortable turning designs into new front-end applications, and applying design changes to existing applications. You'll need to be adaptable, and able to identify where your role can support other areas of the team. Technical Expertise: Programming Proficiency: Advanced skills in full stack development, ideally using Java and Javascript or Python, with demonstrated experience in building production-grade applications Cloud Architecture: Understanding of cloud-native architectures, particularly in AWS or Azure environments. Hands-on experience developing and debugging CI/CD pipelines, including fluency with containerised deployment methodologies. Senior Project Manager Payroll programme - BPO outsourcing (HR / Payroll domain) Initial 3 Month Contract (Very likely long term extensions) (Apply online only) per day, Outside IR35 Fully Remote Unify is proud to exclusively represent an established UK Consultancy, who are looking to engage the services of a Senior Project Manager, to oversee the delivery of a large Payroll programme. The PM must take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of the initial procurement and implementation planning phases. Overview: The customer is initiating a new EMEA Payroll Programme focused on implementing a modern, global solution utilising the Deel vendor platform. The initial engagement will support the critical procurement and technical phase, specifically focusing on defining detailed business requirements, ensuring technical rigour, and managing integration workstreams. This is an excellent opportunity for future growth. The work is expected to expand into subsequent phases, including: UK Payroll integration; Broader scope projects involving Time & Attendance and HRIS implementations. Required Experience and Core Skills: Demonstrable experience delivering a Payroll Programme of Work (i.e., not just a project within a payroll function). Proven experience operating in a corporate environment. Recent, hands-on experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions, particularly within the HR/Payroll domain. Experience successfully navigating and delivering change within a large, matrixed organisation with multiple management levels and complex stakeholder structures. Any experience with the Deel Vendor platform or similar Global EOR/Payroll solutions (e.g., Remote, Papaya Global) is highly advantageous.
