Our client, an international manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. We are looking for someone who is confident in taking ownership of their work, demonstrating accountability and responsibility on site. A proactive approach, positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role. It s a highly automated site with a strong mix of electrical and mechanical work. Long-term stability. There s plenty of project work to get involved in, not just day to day breakdowns. There s ongoing investment in the site, with opportunities to get stuck into improvement projects. You would be working across a wide range of equipment - Conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, fillers, drives, flow wrappers, cappers, pumps and valves etc Job details: Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site. Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime. Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities. Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support. Qualifications / Experience: Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (Essential). Strong fault-finding capabilities. PLC fault-finding experience. Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves. Competent in safe working procedures. 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desirable).
