2fawcett Infrastructure have several exciting opportunities for a Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join leading Tier 1 contractors in the Infrastructure sector including Rail, Energy, Higways and Water, to support the commercial delivery of infrastructure projects. The positions involve managing costs, contracts, and financial performance across projects and frameworks, ensuring safe delivery, profitably, and in line with contractual requirements. Responsibilities: Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from commencement to final account Prepare, review, and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts Prepare applications for payment, valuations, and final accounts Assess, submit, and negotiate variations, compensation events, and change control Procure and manage subcontractors, including subcontract agreements and payments Monitor project costs and cash flow, identifying and mitigating commercial risks CVRs Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant legislation Skills & Experience Required Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or civil engineering projects Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract (NEC3/4 ideally working with Option C / E Target Contract / Cost Reimbursable) Experience with online Portals like CEMAR etc. Good understanding of measurement, valuation, and cost control techniques Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting tools Ability to work independently and as part of a project team Desirable Membership or working towards membership of RICS, CIOB, or equivalent Experience on highways frameworks (e.g. National Highways, Network Rail, National Grid, local authority frameworks etc) Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proactive and solution-focused approach Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines As well as providing a competitive salary and benefits package, our clients actively run several reward and recognition awards as part of our passion to provide a supportive working environment.
