Your role as a Sensor Fusion Lead will involve architecting, designing, implementing and testing embedded applications primarily focused around sensor suite integration and fusion. You may also lead a small team of other engineers. Tasks will generally involve architecting software systems and features that facilitate our state of the art methods for navigation in a variety of environments using our in-house fleet of UAVs. Key Responsibilities: Primarily, your role will be to maintain, architect and develop our current sensor fusion capabilities and add new features in a structured and maintainable manner under direction of product owner (Head of Digital Systems). Research, Architect, Design and Test Sensor Fusion algorithms using Mathworks products. The Role: This role will be part of Saab Seaeye, our underwater robotics business based in Fareham. The role will be responsible for the delivery of assigned Saab Seaeye Projects meeting cost, schedule and quality requirements for current projects and future generation projects. Key Responsibilities: Together with the Program Director and Program Manager, initiate and start up new projects ensuring valid business cases are developed. Plan and structure Projects to the appropriate level of detail at work package, activity and task level reflecting the governance requirements of the appropriate Saab project delivery process. Lead and manage Project execution teams. Report Project status and escalate issues to the Program Manager and Project Steering Group as appropriate. Track and report Project costs and deliverables, explain variances to plan and implement appropriate countermeasures as required. By working with the relevant departments ensure competent resources are identified and assigned to the Project as required to enable successful program execution. Ensure adequate Project risk management activities are conducted including risk identification, mitigation and escalation as appropriate. The Role: This role is part of our underwater robotics business Saab Seaeye. You will perform a variety of activities that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking Work Orders and Sales Orders in accordance to the MRP schedule, packing and shipping orders to customers, and organising and retrieving stock. Key Responsibilities: Receive goods and materials accurately/efficiently via Goods Inwards in accordance with the delivery schedule on MRP. Process all goods receipt documentation including scanning; deal with booking in problems with purchasing and ensure non stock orders are delivered to individuals. Locate stock into the correct locations from QC or Good Inwards, ensuring all stock is safely stored and stock rotation techniques are applied at all times. Ensure that all stock is labelled and packed appropriately to ensure it is easily identifiable and free of contamination/damage. Pick work orders and sales orders in relation to picking lists, ensuring excellent levels of accuracy. Perform general physical activities in stores area such as loading, unloading, sorting, cleaning and stock movements. Follow manual handling guidelines for physical stock movements ensuring appropriate lifting equipment is used where appropriate. Ensure that the yard is organised, clean, safe and stock is located appropriately according to its physical size - including COSHH cabinet and oil store. Support the processing of waste collection in line with the business requirements. Respond to hatch enquires with the appropriate level of urgency. Processing of online stores requisitions in an accurate and timely manner. Accurate processing of daily KPI's, and product/part details such as new locations updates. Maintain all stores related equipment and vehicles and report any malfunctions to Materials Supervisor. Maintain high levels of stock accuracy and report any stock discrepancies to the Materials Supervisor. To ensure all systems and sales orders are packed to a high standard and correctly labelled for courier collections. To ensure crates and packing materials are ordered in a timely manner to meet system, production and internal sales deadlines. To undertake any other duties as appropriate within their competence, as required by their Head of Unit from time to time. Experience and Skills: Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired. Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role. Previous Experience with ERP Systems. Experience with forklifts desirable. Enthusiastic and hardworking. In this role, you will gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our product range and have the opportunity to manufacture a range of ROV assemblies from component level through to final testing and sign off. Additionally, you will gain an understanding of real world performance and use fault-finding methods to perform route cause analysis on returned products that require servicing or refurbishment. Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible and accountable for the manufacture and repair of electro-mechanical assemblies. Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to assist with building and fault finding across the product range. To ensure soldering and electrical looming is carried out to a high standard. To assist with pressure and soak testing of all Saab Seaeye components when required, in a timely fashion.
