The company is well recognised for their ability to design, procure, and install a variety of fa ade systems for some of the most prestigious multimillion projects in London. As one of the UK's top installers of bespoke building envelopes they need a capable Estimator to strengthen and support their current team. Your role as Estimator will be pre-construction focused to support the commercial and design teams, winning projects for the operations teams to deliver. Duties will include: Subcontractor Quotation evaluations Cost Planning Value Engineering Take Offs and measurement Subcontractor engagement Risk Analysis Reviewing the Tender documentation. Developing the Tender design by proposing building details and construction methods. Estimating the cost of the internal production activities. Searching potential external suppliers. Managing price requests to external suppliers. Compiling the Tender submissions. Monitoring Tenders after submission and respond to any further requests by the client. Managing all communications with the client during the Tender process. Liaising with the Engineering and Production departments. This role would ideally suit applicants that have previous estimating experience with another sub contractor either facade contractor or glass specialist with an interiors / exteriors focus. Salaries will be offered based on the level of experience in the industry but there will be a benefits package given in addition which includes a car or car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare.

Contracts Manager Up to 110,000 plus excellent package Interiors Main Contractor London Our client is a leading Interior fit-out specialist in London offering the complete design, supply and installation of a high tech pharmaceutical, laboratories and life science projects coupled with many high-end office fit outs and they are looking to strengthen their Operations team with a high calibre Contracts Manager in London and the surrounds. With an extensive portfolio of up to 5m they seek a key member of the management team. This Contracts Manager role requires excellent communication and management skills to co-ordinate input from each department, to maximise the efficiency and add value to the project. You will be fully conversant with the cost and be able to plan activities safely, having direct responsibility for all activities carried out on site and must be able to implement the business management system procedures and provide a professional approach to all aspects of the projects. Your duties will be to take full operational responsibility for running all aspects of a major Interiors project from award through to final handover to the client. This includes the design, procurement and fit-out phases. You will need to be fully conversant with the following: contract documents including correspondence; understand and interpret drawings; research, establish and develop method statements and programmes; reporting; record keeping and project reviews. Required Attributes and Experience The ideal Contracts Manager will have a10 years experience working on construction sites with at least 5 years as a Manager with proven experience of running bespoke interior and refurb projects. Ideally you will be HND or Degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline with a CSCS Managers card and either a relevant First Aid certificate. Preferably you will be computer literate with programming and planning experience, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company's commitments. Finally, the successful Contracts Managers will offer a high level of professionalism at all times in dealing with clients, people and in the presentation of themselves and their work. You will be able to handle demanding people in challenging situations and show the capacity to absorb new knowledge quickly and must be able to motivate teams and drive Projects to successfully deliver the companies commitments and aspirations. Passive Fire Protection Estimator Central London Up to 70,000 Excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator with interiors experience and ideally a focus on fire related project work, looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a growing established specialist sub-contractor. We are looking for a confident and professional individual with experience of passive fire protection projects to join our team. Projects range from small works packages between 100k- 200k and larger projects up to 2.5m in value; all involving exciting transformations on projects in Central London and revolve around Passive Fire Protection, to create modern spaces where people can work well together. You will be an experienced contractor's estimator, with at least 5 years' experience with a suitable sub-contractor or a fit out contractor working within the commercial sector. You will also preferably have some professional qualifications. You will thrive in a team environment and have a keen sense for opportunity as well as strong professional integrity. You will have excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills as well as the ability to analyse and report on commercial matters. You will have a good understanding of standard forms of construction contracts (JCT/NEC) with experience in traditional and design and build contracting. You will need to analyse schedules of work and be able to break out works packages into sub-contract enquiries for going to market. You will be expected to provide punctual reporting and presentation of supplier bids / packages to construction director and wider management team. You will be highly organised and able to manage your workload independently, with strong experience in working accurately to tight timescales and under pressure. You will be able to produce accurate, detailed, competitively priced tender bids, fully scoped and presented in logical manner for adjudication You will assist with the production of pitch documents, in line with corporate presentation standards to accompany tender bids You will work collaboratively as part of a pre-construction team, to deliver quality tender bids and secure works orders You must possess excellent organisational skills in reviewing tender documents, identifying scope and packages that require pricing
