The role responsibilities include: Managing customer quotations through varying methods, including email and online portals. Supporting with all aspects of ocean pricing including imports, exports and cross trade. Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers; confirming equipment availability and agreeing prices where no tariff exists to ensure cost-effective solutions. Preparing and submitting customer quotations and proposals . Creating and issuing quotations using our in-house system. Communicating with customers to follow up on quotes and obtain feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to the relevant teams, adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities. Collaborating with ocean freight operational teams to ensure smooth handover of secured shipments. Monitoring and reporting on the success and failure rates of quotations to management.
