You will work closely with clients to understand their staffing needs, and source, interview, and place highly skilled candidates. Key responsibilities include: Business Development : Proactively identifying and building relationships with new clients in the construction industry. Candidate Sourcing : Using a range of sourcing techniques (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.) to find high-quality candidates for roles in project management, surveying, engineering, design, and more. Recruitment Process: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from candidate sourcing and interviewing through to offer management and client follow-up. Account Management: Nurturing existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery and retention. Market Knowledge: Staying updated with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions within the construction sector. About You: We re looking for someone with: Experience in Recruitment (ideally within construction or another specialist sector), or sales experience with a passion for recruitment. A strong ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Driven, self-motivated, and hungry to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage a high-volume workload with attention to detail and deadlines. With a strong project pipeline and a commitment to excellence, they re looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has hands-on experience with COINS . The Role Reporting to a Senior QS or Commercial Manager, you ll assist with all aspects of cost control, procurement, and financial management across multiple residential developments. You ll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with company standards. Responsibilities Support the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and valuations. Assist in the management of subcontracts, payments, and variations. Maintain accurate records using COINS software. Contribute to monthly CVRs and project forecasting. Assist with procurement and tendering processes. Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and consultants. Help ensure commercial best practice and compliance with company procedures.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Design Manager to join our growing team at a leading main contractor operating across London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process on complex construction projects from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring that design is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and compliance standards. You will play a key role in liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams, and act as the main point of contact for all design-related matters. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the design process on projects from tender stage through to completion. Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to develop practical, buildable, and cost-effective design solutions. Lead and chair design team meetings and ensure design responsibilities are clearly defined and managed. Manage the flow of design information to ensure timely release of information for procurement and construction. Review design documentation for buildability, compliance, and commercial implications. Ensure designs meet statutory regulations, client specifications, and sustainability targets Provide design input to tender submissions and support the pre-construction team with technical evaluations. Identify design risks and propose mitigation strategies. Manage the appointment and performance of external consultants and specialist designers. Ensure coordination between design disciplines and integration with construction methodology. Promote innovation, value engineering, and digital design tools within the team. Requirements Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related discipline. Proven experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning legislation, and construction methodologies. Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in design software and collaboration tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.). Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
