Gas Operator Working Location: East Midlands, UK Contract Type: Permanent Work Schedule: 42 hours per week plus overtime, Travel within the day (no overnight stay) Role Overview This is a hands-on technical role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities Asset Health Assess and report on the condition of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) equipment and systems. Maintenance and Repairs Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability, including electrical maintenance and instrument calibration. Timely Delivery Complete work efficiently and in line with statutory requirements. Contractor Oversight Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards. Requirements You are a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems, or a skilled electrician wanting to progress and develop further skills in instrumentation systems. Experience Proven experience in an Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing of systems on gas pressure reduction sites.
