Job Title: IP Design Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in service provider and data centre switching and routing . Essential Skills & Experience Proven networking expertise with the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Senior-level knowledge of service provider and data centre routing and switching . Experience with on-premises and hybrid cloud environments (advantageous). Technical Competencies Essential: Deep experience with MPLS , data centre routing , and switching design and implementation. Strong understanding of redundant, highly available network architectures . In-depth knowledge of the OSI model , TCP/IP stack , and advanced troubleshooting. Expertise in BGP, MPLS , and other enterprise routing protocols. L2 and L3 network design, operations, and troubleshooting. WAN routing and traffic engineering . Hands-on experience with major network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Fortinet . Strong understanding of SNMP, NTP, TACACS+, SYSLOG , and other standard network protocols. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with excellent planning and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines. Flexibility to work out of hours when required for network changes. Desirable: Experience or knowledge of network automation technologies such as YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, RESTCONF, Ansible, Python . Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications , especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio . Flint is looking for a Transmission Engineer for a contracting opportunity with one of the main telco providers in the UK. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the complete E2E performance life cycle across RAN, IP transport/backhaul, and EPC/5GC domains. Develop and maintain performance baselines, KPIs/KQIs, and SLAs across all network layers. Lead complex multi-domain root cause analyses using cross-stack performance indicators and diverse data sources (RAN OSS, crowd-sourced data, transmission, transport, and core network elements). Identify root causes of underperforming KPIs and define corrective measures to improve network performance. Investigate systematic and mission-critical issues affecting service performance. Deliver detailed E2E performance reports with clear recommendations and action plans. Analyse end-to-end signalling flows (S1/X2/NG, GTP-C/U, SIP/IMS, PFCP). Monitor and optimise EPC/5GC KPIs, including registration/attach success, bearer/session setup, VoLTE/VoNR call quality, and handover success. Assess and troubleshoot backhaul performance issues related to latency, jitter, congestion, and packet loss. Collaborate with IP/Transport teams to evaluate routing, QoS, traffic engineering, synchronisation (PTP, SyncE), and network resiliency. Identify bottlenecks across microwave, fibre backhaul, and aggregation networks. Coordinate with Core Engineering teams on capacity planning, feature enablement, and software upgrades. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party suppliers to agree and implement performance improvements. Apply automation and analytics techniques (SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI) to identify trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities. Technical Expertise Deep understanding of LTE and 5G NR technologies, including mobility, capacity, interference, coverage, and VoLTE/VoNR performance. Strong knowledge of EPC and 5GC core network architecture and cloud-native network functions. Expertise in IP/MPLS, Ethernet, QoS behaviours, and transport network performance. Solid understanding of 3GPP and ETSI standards. Knowledge of DTLS/SRTP protocols. Strong troubleshooting capability using Wireshark and protocol analysers for 4G/5G networks. Good knowledge of LTE parameters and timers. Familiarity with test tools and devices such as Accuver and other industry-standard performance tools.

Job Title: RAN Log Analysis Engineer Location: Bristol Department: Radio Access Network (RAN) Operations Role Summary Responsible for analysing Radio Access Network (RAN) signalling and performance logs to identify network issues, support troubleshooting, and improve KPIs across LTE and 5G networks. Key Responsibilities Collect and analyse RAN logs from OSS, eNodeB, and gNodeB systems. Investigate call drops, accessibility failures, handover issues, and throughput degradation. Interpret RRC, S1AP, X2AP, and NGAP signalling messages. Provide root cause analysis and recommendations to RAN Optimization teams. Prepare concise technical reports and support incident troubleshooting. Required Skills Understanding of LTE/5G RAN architecture and protocols. Experience with log analysis tools (Wireshark, QXDM, TEMS/Nemo). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work with KPI performance metrics and OSS systems. Experience 1-4 years in RAN operations, optimization, or troubleshooting preferred.

Job Title: RAN Optimisation Engineer Location: Bristol Department: Radio Access Network (RAN) Role Summary Responsible for optimizing LTE and 5G Radio Access Network performance to improve coverage, capacity, and quality KPIs. The role focuses on KPI monitoring, parameter tuning, and supporting network performance improvements across the Bristol region. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyse RAN KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, Integrity). Perform parameter optimisation (handover, power control, load balancing, tilt & azimuth adjustments). Investigate and resolve call drops, throughput issues, and handover failures. Conduct pre/post optimization analysis and performance benchmarking. Support cluster tuning and new site integration activities. Work with field teams, transmission, and core network for end-to-end issue resolution. Required Skills Strong understanding of LTE and 5G NR RAN architecture. Experience with OSS tools (Ericsson/Huawei/Nokia preferred). Knowledge of RF fundamentals and KPI analysis. Experience with tools such as Actix, TEMS, Nemo, or similar. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Experience 2-5 years in RAN Optimization or Network Performance roles preferred.

Role Specification: Test Automation & Performance Engineer Key Skillset and Responsibilities: VoIP Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with SIP/VoIP call performance testing tools such as SIPp, Spectra, WinSIP, and StarTrinity . Ability to design, execute, and analyse large-scale call performance scenarios. Automation Development: Proficient in Python and Robot Framework for test automation. Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites across multiple domains (API, GUI, performance). API Testing & Performance Engineering: Skilled in API test automation and load testing using tools like Locust, BlazeMeter/Taurus, k6, Newman, and JMeter . Capable of designing scalable test strategies for API and system-level performance validation. GUI Test Automation: Strong understanding of Front End automation using TestCafe, Robot Framework, and Selenium . Familiar with browser automation best practices and test stability optimization. Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD): Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
