Vacancy: Financial Accountant / Financial Investigator (Hybrid/Remote) Duration: Varies from case to case Pay: £80-£100/Hour Location : Leeds Our client is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant/Financial Investigator to assist with their workload. Responsibilities for the Forensic Accountant/Financial Investigator role include: Undertake investigative and analysis work on criminal cases, some of which are high-profile cases Use of specialist software to perform analysis work Analysis of confidential and sensitive evidence for use in Court proceedings Providing input on patterns and areas for further investigation Providing input into planning the scope of cases to be undertaken Planning to determine the scope of the case and the work required Review, analysis, and verification of confidential and sensitive evidence for use in Court proceedings. Review of the work of the opposing Prosecution/Defence/Claimant Forensic Accountants Interpretation of complex data and reconciliation of accounts, including the reconstruction of accounts from source documents Developing fact-finding questions for further areas of investigation and requesting additional documentary evidence for consideration Preparation of expert financial information and analysis for criminal investigations Attending case conferences with Solicitors, Counsel, Claimants, Defendants, Clients, Law Enforcement Agencies, and Government Bodies Preparation of reports with supporting schedules and appendices in a clear and concise format suitable for Court purposes Attendance at Joint Meetings and preparation of Joint Statements Candidates applying for the Forensic Accountant/Financial Investigator role will need: Analytically minded Organised, efficient with a great eye for detail Excellent customer service skills Minimum 10 years of Forensic Accounting experience Extensive criminal experience Able to hit the ground running GCSE Maths & English grade 5 or above Experience of writing reports or 'Section 16 statements' to completion For more information about the Forensic Accountant/Financial Investigator role contact Carolyn

You have the option to work in a hybrid or fully remote capacity.
