About the Role As Technology Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading and enhancing the technical customer service experience across all BIMM University campuses. Your role will be essential in ensuring that students and staff can confidently access and utilise the technology services available to them. As well as managing a high-performing support team, you will oversee the helpdesk system, and serve as a key escalation point for technical issues. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, regional supervisors, and external vendors to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement in service delivery. What You ll Do: Lead, mentor, and develop the technology support team. Manage the Technology Operations helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of tickets across the University while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). Act as the escalation point for Regional Technology Supervisors and complex technical issues. Oversee key operational functions, including performance reviews, inductions, holiday requests, and escalated absence management for support staff. Collaborate with the Technology Operations Managers to share knowledge and improve support processes. Work with third-party vendors to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently. Develop and implement best practice processes for ticket resolution and support services. Provide detailed reports on ticket management trends, successes, and areas for improvement. Engage with Campus Deans and Deans of Faculty to tailor support services based on campus-specific needs. Work closely with Technology Operations and Development Managers to oversee infrastructure updates and changes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Technologies, server management, and cyber security best practices. Proficiency in Mac OS and experience with network infrastructure, including MPLS meshed networks. Ability to produce and present helpdesk analysis reports. About the Role As Admissions Manager you will lead the application processes for our Film and Games provision at BIMM University. This is a commercially focused role with responsibility for converting enquiries and applications through to successful enrolment. You will be accountable for achieving annual targets, managing performance, and ensuring a high-quality applicant experience. What You ll Do: Lead, manage and develop a team of Admissions Officers to deliver individual and departmental enrolment targets. Oversee the effective processing of all admissions activity including enquiries, assessments, applicant communication and record management. Produce regular reporting on admissions data and performance, highlighting trends or concerns to the Head of Admissions. Drive continuous improvement of processes to enhance the applicant journey. Lead operational planning and delivery around key admissions periods, including the UCAS equal consideration deadline and clearing. Support wider recruitment and admissions activity, including open days, assessment days and enrolment. Ensure accuracy and compliance in the use of admissions databases and student records systems. Act as deputy for the Head of Admissions when required. What You ll Bring: Degree-level education or equivalent experience. Previous admissions experience within Higher Education. Strong working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, including UCAS. Experience of consultative selling and a commercially focused approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced IT competency, including Microsoft Office and student records systems. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. About the Role As Counselling Service Coordinator, you would lead and manage the delivery of high quality counselling services for our student community. In this role, you will ensure that students referred for counselling receive timely, professional, and impactful support, helping them navigate personal challenges during their academic journey. Along with overseeing administrative tasks, the Counselling Services Coordinator will play a hands-on role in providing in-person counselling to students, offering direct support while managing the broader operations of the service. What You ll Do: Lead and manage the counselling service on campus, ensuring the effective delivery of support to students. Oversee and coordinate the caseload of the counselling team, providing guidance and support as needed. Assess student referrals from the wellbeing teams, making informed decisions on the appropriate support and risk management. Facilitate group counselling sessions on key topics, such as exam anxiety, when appropriate. Collaborate with the Student Wellbeing, Academic Administration, and Assessment teams on student risk management, fitness to study protocols, and crisis intervention. Liaise with external agencies and departments to create effective referral pathways for students requiring additional support. Implement counselling policies, procedures, and best practices that align with BIMM University s mental health and wellbeing strategies. Promote mental health awareness among staff and students, supporting staff development and improving understanding of its impact on student success. Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the counselling service and ensure compliance with the BACP Code of Ethics and other legal requirements. Ensure the efficient use of technology and systems to improve access to resources and counselling services for students and staff. What You ll Bring: A counselling or psychotherapy qualification to at least degree level (or equivalent). Substantial experience in providing counselling services in a higher education setting. Accreditation with BACP and thorough knowledge of the BACP Code of Ethics. Proven experience in coordinating a service or leading a team within a similar environment. Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance service delivery. A confident and resilient practitioner, capable of making informed decisions based on thorough risk assessments. Strong administrative, IT, and record-keeping skills, with experience in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
