This is a role with a high level of responsibility within a world class manufacturing environment. You will have autonomy within your position and have the scope to make improvements on site. The role would suit HSE or Health and Safety Managers or Senior Health and Safety personnel who have experience working within a manufacturing environment. Reporting directly into the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Health & Safety on a heavy continuous process manufacturing site. You will carry out audits of operational practice and work collaboratively with all employees to ensure the site is legally compliant. You will take a lead on risk assessment and risk management, investigate accidents/incidents and ensure corrective measures are put In place. You will devise and deliver all H&S training, inductions and ensure that SOPs are reinforced and best practice is adhered to. You will liaise with external organisations and authorities where required to ensure the site is compliant with all environmental clauses.
