Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Stockport area are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join the business on a permanent basis due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Project Management, with the ability to take see a project from Cradle to Grave while being able to engage with all stakeholders. Candidates will be required to oversee all aspects of the projects from Purchasing/ Planning/ Manufacturing/ Shipping. Ideally candidates will have experience working within a Manufacturing Engineering/ Machining based environment. Hours - 39 per week Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 15:30 Responsibilities Take hold of current and existing projects and streamline process to help maintain OTD of projects. Coordinate between all relevant departments including Purchasing/ Planning/ Production / Shipping Identify any slippage or risk to schedules as soon as possible internally and develop recovery / mitigation plans. Work closely with key suppliers and the procurement department to ensure supplier delivery schedules are achieved. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Demonstrable experience in project management and streamlining projects already in process. Our client, a leading sub contract machinist based in the Gloucester area are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development / Sales Manager to join the business on a permanent basis to expand their service offering within the Nuclear/ Aerospace and Defence sector. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a Sales or Business Development role generating new clients and workflow and also managing client enquiries from estimating, technical discussions, bid management through to closing the sale. Candidates MUST have knowledge and experience in sales of Machining services to be considered for the role given the nature of the work. Experience in the Defence sector is also a must. Candidates will ideally be based on the M5 Corridor but will be willing to travel to clients sites as required. Provide advice to the Directors on what is achievable from a growth standpoint across all market sectors and product groups.
