The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a lead role managing design teams in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment to ensure the efficient manufacture of complex components on time, to budget and to the high-quality standards required. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Lead the Engineering Team on New designs and be accountable for technical output. Allocation of resource for NPD and CE against production plan Implement and maintain design and drafting standards Initiate and run design investigations based on Trends shown by the quality and technical log or set by the SMT. Organise Testing against Type approval plan and liaise with technical and governing bodies.
