Responsibilities for the Healthcare Assistant: • Will assist in the daily care of the Residents, helping with dressing/undressing, washing, bathing and personal hygiene where necessary. • To help Residents with problems of mobility and other physical disabilities such as incontinence, helping with the use of disability aids and caring for the same, as identified in the Residents care plan. • Apply practical intervention procedures for dementia or behavioural problems • Help and be involved with the organisation of social activities, and to participate in ways intended to promote Residents physical and mental well-being. To accompany Residents on community visits and hospital/doctor s appointments. Involving yourself with Residents in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations. • Monitor Residents medical or physical condition, and report any changes to the Manager/Senior in charge on duty. • Bring all complaints raised about service level no matter how minor, to the attention of the Manager/Senior in charge • Ensure care, support and understanding is provided for Residents who are bedridden or terminally ill. • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment in the Home, in particular with regard to appropriate Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations. To report all accidents either anticipated or arising to the Manager/Senior in Charge • Ensure that all matters relating to Residents finances, health, personal matters etc. are kept strictly confidential at all times • Attend meetings and training courses, as directed by the Manager. • Undertake other duties, as and when required to do so within the scope of your experience, training and ability Requirements for Healthcare Assistant : • Enhanced DBS Check • All Mandatory trainings + Medication Administration for RGNs • Sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents • Good communication skills

Responsibilities for Maintenance Surveyor: The primary function of the Maintenance Surveyor role is to provide a responsive surveying service for Southern Housing. You will ensure that all Southern Housing-owned and managed properties are maintained to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met. You will ensure staff, residents, leaseholders, managing agencies and property owners are provided with a high standard of service. To undertake the management of responsive repairs by site inspections, including taking corrective action where necessary and reporting regularly to the Contract Manager on progress. To analyse and assess building defects, provide remedial proposals, and prepare specifications for remedial repairs. To ensure specifications are to a high standard of detail and meet current legislative standards. To obtain, where necessary, quotations and estimates in accordance with our procurement procedures. To maintain communication and consultation to the highest possible standard of customer care with internal and external stakeholders. To ensure work is carried out within the budgets and value for money is achieved, through scrutinising quotations, variation requests and proposed specifications. Respond to residents' enquiries and communicate updates on cases you are overseeing via telephone, email and text message. Requirements for Maintenance Surveyor: Experience as a building surveyor in a maintenance environment, carrying out pre, mid and post inspections. Knowledge of relevant and current codes of practice, building regulations, health and safety legislation, standards, and materials. Knowledge of construction and design-related defects and how to avoid them. Knowledge of procurement law and different forms of contract. Knowledge of contract management. Ability to use the appropriate IT tools to produce detailed reports, documents, and emails, including using Excel and Word and company software to compile reports for different audiences. Assist driver with navigation, traffic spotting, and operating lifting equipment. Ensure bins, bags, or containers are returned neatly after emptying. Duties & Responsibilities: Processing invoice payments to providers of goods and services using council systems such as Oracle and Social Care systems e.g. ContrOCC. Process and record all financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as necessary. Provide assistance in audits and financial reviews conducted by internal and external parties. Requirements: Experience of invoice processing is essential however previous use of the above named systems. Attention to detail is required as well as an aptitude for learning. Use of word, email/outlook are required as well as experience in communicating with internal and external agencies and organisations.
