Job Description: Flexible People Ltd are currently looking for reliable and physically fit individuals to work as warehouse operatives for one of our well-established clients, based in Maidstone. This is a hands-on, active role that involves working as part of a team to move, lift and wrap heavy furniture, including sofas. The rate of pay is 12.71 per hour. Shifts are from 0700am-1900pm on a 4 on 4 off rota, the hours stated here are approximate. Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t drivers for a well known Sofa Delivery company, based in Bristol. The company build and supply sofas all over the country and this vacancy in Bristol is a Temp to Perm position, whereby you would work via Flexible People Ltd for 13 weeks before moving on to a contract directly with the company, if successful. Your daily responsibilities as a 7.t driver - Complete all deliveries into customers homes in a safe and professional manner. Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery, to ensure that they know you re on your way to their address. Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that they are not left with any rubbish to dispose of. Represent The Company's values and those of their brand partners in everything that you do. Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service they offer. Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects/missing items immediately. Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures. The role is for you if You hold a 7.5T License or above, Digi Tacho, CPC Card and valid UK manual driving license (minimum 12 months, max 6 points). Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to work alongside our lorry drivers, for a well known client of ours, based in Southampton. This role involves delivering large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit. The client operate seven days a week, you will receive a weekly rota of 5-6 shifts a week. WEEKEND WORK IS INVOLVED AND WILL BE EXPECTED OF YOU! Please only apply if you can work weekends, as well as weekdays. Start times are 0600 and days will last for around 9-11 hours. As a drivers mate you will also be responsible for calling ahead to customers to let them know of your arrival time, so good customer service and telephone skills are essential. You will also be trained to be a 'banksman' - ensuring that you are outside of the lorry at all times when the lorry is reversing, to ensure that it is safe to do so. You will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new Drivers Mates are subject to an induction day that must be attended. You must be able to reliably commute to the Southampton area. Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at induction. Pay rates of 13.15 per hour, there is an overtime rate of 19.73 per hour, for anything worked over 48 hours in a week.
