Job Description We are looking to recruit a Conveyancer (Fixed Term Contract for 10 Months) to join our team in Saint Leonards. This would suit a person with a background of working in a conveyancing environment handling their own caseload or with experience managing a team of case handlers. Key Responsibilities of a Conveyancer Carry out all legal aspects on residential property transactions while ensuring due diligence in all areas of processing a residential property transaction including leaseholds, freeholds, registered properties and unregistered properties. Provide day to day coaching and mentoring for Team Members as required. Provide support to the Team Manager as required. Assess risk on every transaction by using skills to make pragmatic decisions and to ensure appropriate legal advice is given. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in conveyancing, particularly in New Build transactions, and experience managing their own caseload. Key Responsibilities As a Senior New Build Property Lawyer in our New Build department, you will manage an average caseload of 50 files, covering all stages of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
