We have multiple clients seeking Thermal Engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and testing thermal systems to ensure performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. You will contribute to projects involving heating, cooling, and energy management solutions across a range of applications, ensuring optimal thermal performance and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Conduct thermal analysis and modelling of systems, components, and environments. Design and optimise thermal management solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and/or specialist equipment. Carry out simulations using relevant software (e.g., ANSYS, CFD tools, MATLAB). Support prototype development and perform thermal testing to validate designs. Provide technical input on material selection, insulation, and cooling technologies. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and energy engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed technical documentation, test reports, and recommendations. Essential Skills & Qualifications Degree (BEng/MEng) in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Experience with thermal modelling and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, FloTHERM, COMSOL). Practical experience in testing and validating thermal systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Skills Experience in HVAC, renewable energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors. Our client are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will play a key role in ensuring that clients receive a high-quality service with systems running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and repair air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and packaged systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance calls. Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to restore system performance. Complete F-Gas leak testing, pressure testing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging as required. Ensure all works comply with current health and safety regulations and F-Gas legislation. Provide clear service reports and communicate effectively with customers on work carried out. Assist with project planning and support wider engineering teams where required. Essential Skills & Qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent). F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification (essential). Proven experience in air conditioning installation, servicing, and fault-finding. Strong knowledge of electrical systems relevant to A/C units. Good problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused attitude. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Skills Experience with VRV/VRF systems and larger-scale commercial installations.
