They work globally in a specialist market and are proud to be the only UK manufacturer of this type of product. The sales region will be predominantly UK and Ireland for the first 6/12 months, with limited export activity during this period, but will then move towards extensive export activity/travel thereafter. Assembly Operative. Our client in Newhaven is now looking for an Assembly Operative. Are you looking for work between now and Christmas with the potential of extending into January and February 2026 and with the possibility of attaining a permanent contract. If you would like to earn in excess of £482 per week + accrued holiday pay/salary equivalent to £25,000 per annum, then this could be the opportunity you ve been looking for. This is based on the following: Hourly pay of £12.21 ( Start rate) over 39.5 hours per week. The working week is Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm- (Fridays finish at 1.30pm) Please be advised that during busy periods, Fridays may finish at 5pm, totalling the hours to 42.5 Pay is Weekly, and paid each Friday. This can be a Temp to Perm position for the right person. Additionally, do you have some experience in manually assembling products. Perhaps you have been a machine operator or machine minder, perhaps worked with wood, or a machinist with other products/materials (even Sewing machines) Can you work with accuracy and with great attention to detail, have a keen eye, along with manual dexterity. Some lifting is involved, so safety shoes need to be worn at all times. Candidates will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable throughout the busy period. Being a flexible person is a big requirement due to being moved around the different departments, assisting others and learning all aspects of the production. Assistance in other areas on the production floor would be required. Equally important is your reliability and for you to enjoy your working role. Be a team player. Please note that this is a very hands on position that involves standing up for long periods of time. The working environment is clean, tidy and professional and is further enhanced by the full use of the company s kitchen during breaks. Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their engineering site which is based in Littlehampton, West Sussex.They are a leading global manufacturer of castings for automotive and defence industries. It would be useful if you had experience in the following fields: Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance of manufacturing plant and systems (Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Gas burner controls, Electrical Control Panels, PLC Control systems, Overhead Cranes). Qualification Requirements; Maintenance/Technician NVQ level 3 discipline or equivalent. We will consider applicants that hold IMI LEVEL 3/4 Diploma in vehicle maintenance & repair. Qualification in an electrical engineering discipline is also desirable. Role Description: You will be responsible for key maintenance of all essential plant and machinery within the foundry, heat treatment plant and machine shop manufacturing unit.
