We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Elloughton an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Spray Operator. The role will report to the Growing Manager and will focus predominantly on the day to day spraying of crops. This role will ensure all spray applications comply with legislation and policies and procedures. You will be required to maintain the spray equipment to enable optimum application and to report any equipment faults. Other responsibilities will also include: Filling in all paperwork and records in a neat manner that is required legally Maintain all PPE Ensure training courses are attended and sufficient CPD points are obtained to satisfy NROSO membership The Working hours will be 39 per week, spread between Spraying and other jobs when spraying is not available. Due to the nature of this role flexibility with working times is essential and some weekend and evening work will be required. Applicants should have, or be willing to undertake training to gain, the certificates in PA1 and PA6 pesticide application. Once these certificates are gained you will be required to be a member of NROSO. Experience of using robotic spray equipment would also be an advantage but training will be provided

We are recruiting on behalf of our client self-motivated and driven packhouse Team Leader. Reporting to the packhouse supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of Packing Operatives, ensuring orders are completed in full and on time. You will monitor performance of the Packing operatives, ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum and perform packing duties yourself. Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 per week and weekend working will be required. Shift pattern: 8 hours between 6am-6pm - with flexibility. This is a seasonal full-time role expected to last until November 2026 however there may be an opportunity to extend the contract over the winter period and beyond. Responsibilities Organise teams. Monitor quality and performance. Liaise with other departments both in the production facility and on site as required. Minimise downtime, investigating and reporting all issues immediately. Prioritise orders as required to ensure orders are completed in full. Ensure all staff follow food safety and hygiene protocol. Training new staff as and when required. Skills Essential: Good level of spoken and written English. Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor, preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Excellent attention to detail. Able to communicate effectively at all levels. Able to work under pressure. Desirable: Previous experience of working in a Packhouse. Food production experience. Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate. Health and safety qualification.

You will monitor performance of all direct reports on a daily basis and effectively manage the packing process from beginning to end. Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 per week and weekend working will be required. Shift Pattern: 8 hours between the hours of 6am-6pm with flexibility. Organise production teams, monitor and drive performance, ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum. Ensure orders are completed in full and on time. Attend meetings and accompany visitors and auditors as required. Organise staff daily/weekly - including preparing rotas and completing timesheets. Organise daily production schedule ensuring all orders are completed in time. Investigate customer complaints. Ensure all staff follow food safety and hygiene protocol. Training of new staff as and when required. Assist with audits. Skills Essential: Previous supervisory experience. Strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good level of spoken and written English. Strong organisational and time management skills. Competent in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel). Experience of working in Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Proven ability to motivate individuals and teams. Flexible approach to hours and days worked. Able to work under pressure.
