We re looking for a Capital Delivery PMO Lead to join a newly established in-house team, responsible for managing a diverse and ambitious capital portfolio including schools, leisure centres, green spaces, town centres, regeneration schemes, and major housing developments. What We re Looking For Proven experience working in a PMO or programme support role within a structured project delivery environment. A solid understanding of project governance, assurance, and best practice tools and techniques. Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills. Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office/O365 to a high standard. A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to guide and support project teams. Ideally, a recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, MSP, P3O or equivalent). Preferably, experience of working in or with local government or the wider public sector. Additional Information You ll report directly to the Head of PMO (Growth) and work alongside capital programme leads and project delivery teams. This role includes line management of 3 PMO Support Officers. Hybrid working arrangements are supported, with occasional office-based meetings and site visits required. This will also include working with development parts building new programs and training and supporting operatives in the maintenance of machined forms on production parts. Expereince with working on XYZ lathes would be advantegous. Main duties include reviewing drawings, taking measurments for cutting materials including performingroutine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
