Role: Calibration Engineer Location: Stansted Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday Salary: 30,000 1. Job Purpose As a Calibration technician, you will be responsible for performing calibration inspections and measurements, providing technical guidance and specifications to trainees, and maintaining accurate, auditable calibration records. You will ensure all data is recorded and managed in accordance with established procedures using calibration management systems. 2. Job Accountabilities Calibration of mechanical measuring equipment, including micrometers, callipers, torque wrenches and crimp tools. Calibration of electrical equipment, including multimeters, insulation testers and LCR meters. Calibration of specialist products, where appropriate to the individual. Repair and fault-finding to component level. Maintaining the serviceability of all tools and test equipment used for calibration. Maintaining the calibration database, filing system, calibration certification and associated files. Providing on-the-job training and mentoring at all levels, as required. Assisting in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures. Participating in internal and external audits, as required. Ensuring that all mandatory and legislative quality, health, safety and environmental requirements are implemented at all times. Supporting process improvement and functional development. Liaising with internal and external auditors. 4. Operating Environment The role is based in a calibration laboratory near Stansted Airport, Essex. 6. Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge 6.1 Qualifications and Education A technical engineering qualification at one of the following levels: Degree HND HNC NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above 6.2 Skills and Abilities Practical experience in calibration activities within a laboratory or technical environment. Knowledge of UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and calibration certification processes. Understanding of calibration uncertainty budgets, principles, practices and theories. Ability to perform calibration tasks in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Ability to maintain accurate calibration records and documentation. Proficiency in Windows-based software and laboratory automation systems, including Microsoft Excel. Full UK driving licence.

Role: IT Support Engineer Location: Stansted, UK Salary: £40,000 Our client are seeking a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join there small but dedicated IT team. This is a varied role covering all levels of support from day-to-day desktop troubleshooting to server administration and cloud technologies. You ll play a key part in keeping our business-critical systems running across multiple sites, so flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset are essential. This position will involve occasional travel between there UK sites and participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for key systems. Provide 1st 3rd line support for users across Storm Aviation s UK sites. Manage and maintain Windows desktop and server environments. Support and administer webservers, Azure services, Intune, and develop Power Automate workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects. Develop and maintain automated workflows to streamline business processes. Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and modern cloud services. Experience with webserver management (IIS or similar). Familiarity with Power Automate (or other workflow automation tools). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
