Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Solution Design Lead business analysis activities across projects and initiatives Elicit, analyse and challenge business requirements to uncover underlying business needs Produce clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows Use Gherkin-style acceptance criteria where appropriate Develop solution designs and supporting analysis documentation Agile Delivery & Team Leadership Lead a small sub-team of Developers, providing direction and supporting delivery Coordinate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives Support Developers and Testers with clear guidance around how solutions should operate Identify risks, dependencies and assumptions early and proactively address them Technical Analysis Work with technical teams to assess solution options and technical dependencies Apply knowledge of APIs, system integrations and client-side web applications Develop a strong understanding of data models and how data supports business processes Produce basic UML diagrams and other analysis artefacts Use tools such as Azure DevOps and Claude Code to support analysis, solution exploration and delivery Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement Facilitate workshops and meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders Build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation Challenge requirements constructively to ensure solutions align with business objectives Drive continuous improvement across standards, processes and team efficiency What We're Looking For: Essential Experience Proven experience as a Business Analyst, operating at a senior or lead level Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience coordinating Agile ceremonies Experience leading or coordinating a small team or sub-team Experience working in a hands on technical role (development / scripting etc.) Experience working with senior stakeholders to shape solutions and improve requirements Good working knowledge of APIs and system integrations Understanding of client-facing web applications and how front-end functionality supports business processes Experience creating basic UML diagrams and structured analysis models Strong understanding of data models and data mapping Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills A proactive approach to continuous improvement and delivery quality If you're an experienced Business Analyst looking for a role where you can combine business analysis, technical solution design and team leadership while working on technology that supports cutting-edge healthcare research, we'd love to hear from you Important Notice: We are expecting a high volume of applications for this role and while we do our best to respond to as many applicants as we can, it isn't always possible to get back to everyone.
