As a Workshop Manager, you ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HGVs and other vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You ll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow and scheduling, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery. Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for: Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and motivation Oversee all HGV maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs Ensure compliance with DVSA and health & safety regulations Schedule workloads and manage priorities effectively Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers Maintain workshop standards and ensure equipment is properly maintained Monitor performance, KPIs, and workshop efficiency Skills & experience required.
