Multi-Site EHSS Advisor Salary: Competitive Location: Westerham - TN16 This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 12 days at 23:59 BST. The vacancy We are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi- Site EHSS Advisor to join our team and take the lead on the site-level delivery of our Elevate EHSS agenda across our Westerham and Rainham sites. This is a key role in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and embedding best practice across environmental, health, safety, and security disciplines. You ll be the first point of contact and subject matter expert for all EHSS matters, working closely with site leadership and employees to build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. What You ll Be Doing Site Governance & Risk Management Conduct regular site audits against the Critical 15 and action improvement plans. Lead site-level EHSS risk reduction projects. Escalate high-risk issues appropriately and in a timely manner. Audit Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance. Oversee statutory inspections and ensure follow-up actions are completed.Operational EHSS Oversight Audit EHSS compliance checks for contractors. Maintain strong relationships with service providers and regulatory contacts. Organise and document monthly EHSS committee meetings. Lead timely, accurate incident investigations to regulatory standards. Log and track all EHSS activities using the company s management system (OPUS). Champion continuous improvement across both sites.Training & Competence Evaluate training needs and address gaps proactively. Plan, deliver, and evaluate EHSS training (including inductions). Keep induction materials up to date and site-specific. Promote EHSS awareness across employees and management.Legal Compliance & Reporting Ensure full legal compliance with EHSS regulations and permits. Monitor and report environmental, safety, and ESG data monthly. Cascade changes in legislation, policies, and practices to stakeholders.What You ll Already Have NEBOSH General Certificate (essential). TechIOSH membership. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar EHSS role. Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation. Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, ideally across multiple sites.Desirable: Knowledge of environmental permits (e.g. water discharge/TSS).
