You will have a minimum of NVQ 2 in Plant/Agricultural machinery. The day to day role of a Heavy Plant Engineer within this organisation is to service, maintain & repair Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT) being mobile, a van will be included. The Role This role is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of temporary electrical systems supporting modular buildings and welfare units on construction sites. You ll be working on live projects , delivering safe, compliant temporary power solutions to a high standard. The Role You ll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Working within a well-equipped workshop, you ll: Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately. Communicate repair needs with the admin team and customers. Service and replace key components including brakes, filters, suspension, and clutches. Fit and install vehicle accessories such as cameras, sensors, and towbars. Carry out safety checks, road tests, and quality inspections. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, occasionally supporting off-site work.
