This is a field-based role requiring travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair booster sets, pump stations, and sewage treatment plants. Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs. Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance. Perform risk assessments to ensure safe working practices. Provide clear updates to customers and recommend further works where necessary. Complete job reports and paperwork accurately. Be flexible and willing to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. Assist across different areas of the business when needed. Skills & Experience Required Minimum of 2 years' experience in a pump servicing role. Hands-on experience with submersible clean and foul water pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines (18th Edition qualification desirable). We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a contractor due to company growth, specialising in Scaffolding and Brickwork services, operating across London, Northampton, Cambridge and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have background as a Quantity Surveyor, across the residential market, working with residential developers and main contractors such as Barratts and Vistry. Ideally you will have experience within the Scaffolding sector, although not essential but preferable. You will need to have experience managing multiple projects from tender invitation, submission, negotiating contracts through to contract award and practical completion. Office based role - Core hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Recommending and critiquing sub-contractors and managing relationships Work with the operations team with pre-start planning and programming Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts Measuring, submit variations and submit final accounts Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated project.
