MK-Search are currently working with a well respected 40m mechanical biased contractor with a strong presence delivering specialist pipework and full M&E packages across sectors in partnership with leading clients who are looking for a mechanical project manager to join their London business unit. Initially you will work across 2 data centre pipework packages in Acton and Slough valued at 2m and 500 respectively. You will have a supervisor on each and be tasked with managing the client and overviewing engineering and technical duties while managing and motivating the supervisors to deliver through to PC Duties: Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance. Report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder. Liaise with Design & Coordination to ensure the delivery of design/working drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production. Delegate activities within the project team, while building strong working relationships. Management of the procurement process. Be an advocate for best-practice health and safety. Sign off to pay an attractive day rate or salary with an very busy order book of projects across the business. The plan is to use these 2 initially smaller projects to get up to speed with the company processes, before moving on to lead a sizeable mechanical scheme they have upcoming in Central London (circa 15m) in the coming months.

Reporting to a contracts manager you will act as mechanical lead, with full autonomy to manage the complex mechanical package from pre-construction through to PC. About the Role: The key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to): Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance. Report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder. We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of 300m and a strong national presence delivering flagship projects across sectors who are looking for an electrical project manager to work a night shift on a sizeable 24MW data centre they are delivering in NW London. The initial phase will run for 12 months with the next phase likely to be secured soon meaning long term work in the location for many years to come.
