Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Construction Supervisor role Reporting to the Operations Director you will: Take site-level responsibility for electrical installation activities, including both low and high-voltage systems. Lead and coordinate subcontractor teams to maintain progress and quality on-site. Supervise installation of key electrical infrastructure such as transformers, switchgear, earthing, cabling, protection systems, and ducting. Interpret and work to technical drawings and specifications from network operators. Monitor all works to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and industry guidelines (e.g. NRSWA, NJUG). Support both surface and underground electrical works and contribute to QA and inspection procedures. Participate in testing, commissioning and ensure that required documentation is prepared and submitted. Communicate site progress to senior management and maintain effective reporting structures. Review and manage RAMS and technical documents from contractors. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience delivering LV and HV installations in a site-based setting (HV is essential). Background working on utility-scale or infrastructure-based electrical projects, ideally in energy, power, or renewables. Strong knowledge of network operator standards, ideally including G81 and up to 132kV. Experience managing site teams and subcontractors. Comfortable working under CDM regulations and familiar with HSG47 and wider safety legislation. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); working knowledge of SAP or DNO authorisation processes is a plus.
