Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our workshop team in Hull. About the Role : This is a senior, hands-on position ideal for a confident technician who enjoys responsibility and variety. Mobile Vehicle Technician - Commercial Fleet Management (Home Shopping) Plymouth, South West - Night shift / 4 on 4 off rotation £OTE £55-65k BP Rolls' Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and LCV's. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime. Due to our growth of store coverage and support, we need to increase our Technician coverage across the Plymouth, Devon / South West region covering the night shift , on a 4 on 4 off rotation. You will be provided with a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle to undertake your role. Requirements: Our Mobile Technicians liaise closely with our Shift Team Leaders and our in house 24-7 operations team, who are based at our HQ in Andover, Hampshire, alongside our 4 large Nationally located Depots for technical support. You must hold minimum Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician certification (body/electrical/mechanical) and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and practical capability. Possess a minimum of 3 years of post qualified technician experience . Some specific training will be provided as part of your induction but you must be capable and confident to work independently. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a can-do attitude are essential. Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently & efficiently. Clean driving licence, no driving convictions will be considered. This is a customer facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed along with the ability to problem solve to seek resolution on occasion. Able to work on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, nights. Already located within the territory of Plymouth or surrounding areas with legal Right to Work status already held. This is a permanent, full-time position. Uniform/overalls, PPE and a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle provided. Vehicle Parts Advisor - BP Rolls, Andover At BP Rolls, we specialise in Commercial Fleet Management services, vehicle and bodywork repair. Role As we continue to expand our customer network, so we need to support logistics and therefore we are currently recruiting for an additional full time , experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor to join our team in Andover. This role focuses on supporting our busy Andover workshops and local mobile technicians by ensuring they have the right parts, at the right time, in order to deliver high-quality servicing and repairs, both onsite and out at our Customer locations. As a key contributor to the Andover Parts Team you will support the efficient operation of our Group Parts. Your responsibilities will include assisting on parts inventory, supporting technicians in the availability of parts, ensuring robust controls and secure storage. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and reorder parts as necessary to meet demand. Order Processing: Receive and process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the Depot. Teamwork: Collaborate with our Vehicle Technicians and Fleet Operations to ensure the seamless availability of required parts for scheduled repairs and maintenance. Administrative Duties: Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Requirements Qualifications - Minimum of GCSE pass in in English and Mathematics. Experience - Previous experience gained in an automotive parts advisor role is preferred. Maturity to make decisions, communicate across all levels and manage an independent workload in an organised manner. Knowledge - Previous experience and knowledge of vehicle parts nad inventory controls. Skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in using IT / Front office software. Organised and a team player. Physical Capability - by virtue of the role, this position requires the physical ability to lift, move and assist on the relocation of large mechanical parts, therefore you must be able to manage such demands comfortably, independently and without risk of injury.
