Head of Operations - Food Manufacturing TeamJobs are recruiting exclusively for a Head of Operations to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations or Manufacturing leader with a strong background in food manufacturing to lead a busy production operation and play a key role in the next stage of the company's growth. Whilst the role has responsibility for Warehouse and Logistics, the main focus is leading and developing the Production and Bottling operations , driving operational performance, continuous improvement and building high-performing teams. Package Salary up to 80,000 Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm Permanent position The Role You'll have overall responsibility for Production, Bottling, Warehouse and Logistics , ensuring production delivers against safety, quality, service and efficiency targets. Working closely with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Technical and Laboratory teams, you'll drive improvements across manufacturing performance whilst ensuring the operation is ready to support future business growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time on the shop floor, developing your teams, improving processes and leading continuous improvement across the production operation. Key Responsibilities Lead the Production, Bottling, Warehouse and Logistics functions Drive production performance through improvements in OEE, waste, downtime, labour efficiency and output Lead and develop production teams, building capability and succession planning Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Technical, Purchasing and Laboratory teams Ensure production plans are achieved safely, efficiently and to customer demand Drive continuous improvement projects across manufacturing processes Monitor KPIs and use data to improve operational performance Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements Influence future equipment, automation and CAPEX investment Ensure the highest standards of HACCP, GMP, food safety, quality and Health & Safety About You You'll have significant experience leading Production or Manufacturing within a food manufacturing environment. You'll have a proven track record of improving manufacturing performance, leading production teams and delivering continuous improvement within a fast-paced FMCG business. Experience of food production, bottling, packaging or similar manufacturing processes is essential, along with a strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality standards.
