You will work with a team measuring kitchen worktops, bathrooms, fireplaces. You will be responsible for visiting client sites taking precise templates for stone installations.You will posses experience in digital templating and physical correx templates. Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday. Company vehicle, tools and ongoing training and development included. Key Responsibilities Travel to clients across the region to measure and template for worktops, flooring, bathrooms, and fireplaces. Use templating tools to create accurate templates for fabrication. Liaise with customers on-site to discuss requirements. Work closely with the designer estimator, fabricators, and installers. Identify and report any site issues or discrepancies. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are fully calibrated. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Requirements Proven experience in stone templating or related field. Strong understanding of various types of stone and their properties. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficient in using digital templating equipment. Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness. Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided). Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks. Redstone Recruitment are looking for a Workshop Manager, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a stone manufacturing facility based on the outskirts of Cantebury. This role requires a hands-on approach, a very good understanding of stonemasonry processes and excellent organisational skills. You will lead a production team, ensuring works are produced on time to the highest standards of quality. Office based, you will have a desk and IT to oversee all management, drawings and DXF files. Working Hours Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break. The occasional Saturday may be required. Key Responsibilities Workflow Optimisation: Implement efficient working processes. Programme work through the axis saw after receipt of digital templates. Load the saw and feed the work with the support of the team. Collaborate with the design/sales and production manager to ensure seamless integration of stonework into projects. Work with the production and installations manager to work to deadlines. Develop production plans to meet deadlines and customer requirements. Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency. Work with the template and installation team, to achieve best practice. Quality Assurance and Inspection of work. Health and Safety/Resource Management/Stock Levels Requirements Proven experience in a managerial role within the stonemasonry or related manufacturing industry. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of stonemasonry processes and techniques. Strong leadership and team management skills.
