Construction Procurement Buyer Support - Facilities Management JOB LOCATION: STEVENAGE/BOLTON SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL: SC (Can Start on BPSS) DURATION: 12months + (likely to be extended; potential to convert to PERM) WORK PATTERN: HYBRID - 2 Days Onsite a Week PAY RATE: £40 Per Hour Umbrella Inside IR35 Essential QUALIFICATIONS Either of CIPS or RICS would be ideal. TARGET INDUSTRIES AND COMPANIES. Is Defence a must? If not what industries can be considered Experience of procurement in the Construction Industry and/or Facilities Management required. Essential Skillset & Tools Candidates with experience in construction procurement, with familiarity of small works frameworks, and/or of using industry forms for contract such as JCT or NEC. Experience of working for either Client, Prime Contractor, or sub-contractors. Experience of running small works construction requests for proposals and assessing supplier submissions including pricing documents. Understand and be able to negotiate contract clauses such as pricing, delivery, liquidated damages, termination, insurance etc by using templates provided We're looking for people who are calm under changing requirements with tight deadlines, and capable of working across multiple projects simultaneously. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide support to the UK Construction procurement strategy with duties consisting but not limited too; o Running & supporting Competitive Tender Events via the E-procurement Tool o Planning Tender Programmes and agreeing meeting dates with stakeholders o Supplier Sourcing for the UK Construction Category o Identify savings opportunities, capture & record Savings o Provide support to raise Purchase Orders during busy period o Support the Indirect UK Construction Team in preparing for Procurement Gate Reviews o Support Indirect Procurement Team with invoice queries Lead low value/low complexity negotiations with suppliers to optimise cost, delivery and quality of products o Understand and be able to negotiate contract clauses such as pricing, delivery, liquidated damages, termination, insurance etc by using templates provided Manage suppliers and where necessary build up longer term supplier management expectations Build strong relationships with suppliers in order to meet Internal Customer requirements effectively. Build strong relationships with FM, Security & SHE Team in order to support their requirements and needs Actively support functional excellence programmes, identifying areas for improvement where new processes may be required. SKILLS: Significant practical experience, vocational or academic qualifications Strong team and communication skills Good written, verbal and presentation skills Good negotiation skills Proactive approach/self-starter and able to work under pressure Good organisational, planning and admin skills Pragmatic approach to problems & issues Commercial experience of contract terms and conditions is required Knowledge of cost make-up and pricing is desirable but not essential Experience of procurement in the Construction Industry and/or Facilities Management required.

Fluent French speaking ERP Program Director (Oracle Fusion Cloud) required to join a major project. Onsite role working from Paris, Brussels, or London. Occasional travel. Asap start 24-month contract Market related rate Required experience: Proven experience of multiple Oracle ERP transformations (at least two reference projects), ideally including Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle 12. Strong international exposure: delivery of programmes spanning multiple entities/countries. Excellent knowledge of Finance functions and processes: accounting (multi-GAAP), procurement, internal controls, change management. Previous background in operational Finance would be a strong asset (former finance professional). Ability to provide verifiable client references for similar projects.
