A full UK driving licence, as the role requires regular travel to client sites. In this role you will carry out a broad range of occupational hygiene surveys and assessments across a variety of client sites and industry sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, education, local government, and construction. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting occupational hygiene and workplace exposure assessments, including noise surveys, dust and chemical exposure monitoring, metal working fluid audits, and COSHH audits. Undertaking personal and static air sampling for chemical and biological agents, in accordance with COSHH regulations. Evaluating engineering controls and advising clients on appropriate exposure risk reduction measures. Preparing clear and accurate technical reports with practical recommendations. Liaising with clients professionally, both on-site and in written communications. Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the company s occupational hygiene service offering. To be considered, you will ideally have an academic background in occupational hygiene, environmental health, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. Candidates with equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Those with BOHS qualifications (at least one of M501, M503, M504, and M507) would be at a distinct advantage. As part of the team, you will benefit from a programme of support to achieve BOHS qualifications (M500-series modules) and professional membership (AFOH/LFOH). A leading provider of analytical testing services are seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth in their laboratory and consultancy services, specifically within the speciality chemicals markets. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets and KPIs (calls, meetings, CRM entries) Develop account strategies and assess client outsourcing needs Collaborate with operations to deliver high-quality, profitable proposals Manage contracts and resolve commercial issues Deliver account and market reports at local and global levels Identify and implement service improvements Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs To be considered, you will have proven B2B sales and client relationship experience, with knowledge of the chemicals market. A scientific or business-related degree (or equivalent) with strong communication and negotiation skills would be advantageous. You will be required to travel for client visits, conferences and promotional events, as such, a Full UK Driving License is essential. Location: Remote (with travel across the UK)
