We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Drivers to join our client based in Stanstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations. Suitable candidate MUST be able to provide 5 years checkable employment references. Basic DBS check will need to be completed before start. Duties Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable. Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Shift: Day shift, 3pm - 11:30pm Hourly rate £18.21 A morning shift should be available soon (8am 4.30pm) Due to the high volume of applications, we will only contact successful candidates.
