Senior Control Systems Engineer Sheffield We are now seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing engineering team at our brand-new regional hub in Sheffield. This is a technically focused role, responsible for leading the design, development and commissioning of advanced control and automation systems across a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring high quality technical delivery. Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices. Build strong client relationships through effective technical communication, presentations and documentation. Take ownership of technical tasks and projects, delivering to budget, quality, safety and programme expectations. Produce and review specifications, design documents and engineering reports. Develop, configure and implement control system application software across multiple platforms. Conduct testing and commissioning activities in live operational environments. Maintain consistently high engineering standards throughout the design and delivery process. Lead or work within multi disciplinary teams, adapting to a variety of environments. Ensure compliance with the company s Integrated Management System. Contribute to continuous improvement and support the development of the wider engineering community. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Degree qualified in control, automation or electrical engineering (or equivalent proven experience). Member of a relevant engineering or professional body (e.g., MIET); Chartered status desirable. Minimum 6 years experience within the control and automation industry. Proven track record delivering control solutions within sectors such as Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process or Materials Handling. Strong technical leadership and project engineering experience. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated, ambitious and capable of operating at a senior technical level. As the Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries for spare parts, coordinating repair orders, preparing quotations, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, engineers, and internal teams. This role is essential in maintaining excellent customer service standards, enabling efficient workflow, and supporting the achievement of sales and operational targets. Key Responsibilities Working in a team of 5 to assist with remedial / spare sales to its customer base. Working from enquiries and leads you will produce quotations for compressor spares and repairs. Log quotations on our sales system. Communicate with clients pre and post quote to chase and close out purchase orders. Provide a positive level of customer service. Complete the required administration for each customer order. Report to the team leader on sales pipeline and sales opportunities. Liaise with field service engineers to ensure information relating to quotes is gained and utilised. Check appropriate parts and costs of parts supported by the internal technical team. Prepare quotations for checking by line management before sending. As the Accounts Payable Apprentice will support the Finance Shared Services Centre using the new OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system and maintaining accurate and timely document capture. This role provides an excellent introduction to AP processes, giving the apprentice hands on experience in digital invoice workflows, financial controls, and transactional processing. Key Responsibilities Validate supplier invoices using the OCR system. Ensure high accuracy in data capture before invoices are routed for approval and processing. Monitor OCR exceptions, resolving simple errors and escalating more complex issues to senior AP colleagues. Support the team with routine AP administrative duties, such as handling basic supplier documentation queries. Help prepare files or information for audits or internal reviews. Key Responsibilities Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing development of the HCM module in IFS Cloud. Maintain system integrity and ensure optimal performance of the HCM module.
