We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Control Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on designing and developing bespoke automation software that meets customer requirements while adhering to industry standards. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creativity to deliver solutions that enhance our reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities Understand an Automation Project Lifecyle from concept to completion. Design and Test Control Software applications for PLC s and HMI s for a variety of different requirements. Functional Testing of all Software Applications created and safe on-site installation and commissioning. Produce and maintain high-quality technical design documentation, such as Functional Design Specification (FDS), Software Design Specification, (SDS) internal and site testing records and user manuals. Work closely with clients to interpret requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback. Ensure designs meet relevant regulatory and safety standards and are consistent throughout the design and development process. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery. Skills and Experience Understanding of designing/interpreting Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and translating into automation software requirements. Experience in programming Rockwell Control-Logix PLC s essential. Experience of Siemens TIA Portal and Mitsubishi hardware also an advantage. Experience in programming Rockwell HMI s essential. Experience of other brand HMI s also an advantage . A knowledge of setting up Automation TCP/IP networks essential. A knowledge of SCADA applications an advantage. Experience of real time electrical and control system commissioning at client locations. A knowledge of wet process and fast moving consumer goods an advantage, such as Water Processing and Treatment and Food and Beverage Manufacture. Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols is required. Competency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Specific Qualifications Full, clean UK driving licence is essential for site visits. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges effectively. Degree, equivalent or HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Application Specialist to manage, maintain, and develop the Human Capital Management (HCM) module within the IFS Cloud ERP system. This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation, integration, and continuous improvement of HCM processes across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing development of the HCM module in IFS Cloud. Maintain system integrity and ensure optimal performance of the HCM module. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Manage the migration of HR data from newly acquired or established organisations into IFS. Ensure accurate and secure data transfer, maintaining compliance with data protection standards. Collaborate with HR teams to analyse and enhance HR processes and procedures. Develop and implement system-based solutions to improve efficiency and user experience. Provide training and guidance to HR staff and internal customers new to the IFS system. Act as the first point of contact for user queries and issues, offering timely and effective support. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration between HCM and other IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Projects) and third-party platforms. Participate in cross-functional projects and system upgrades as required. Skills and Experience Proven experience in managing and developing the HCM module in IFS Cloud ERP. Strong understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system functionality. Experience in data migration, including mapping, validation, and testing. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on user education and support. Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations. IFS certification or formal training in HCM module. Experience with integration between IFS and other enterprise systems. Project management or change management experience. We are currently looking for Service Engineers to join our team. As the Service Engineer you will deliver high levels of service following the company s established procedures by attending breakdowns, completing regular service calls, installation work as well as generating new business recommendations. The ability to work on a wide variety compressed air systems as well as screw compressors, along with the ability to perform technical assessment and appraisals of engineering equipment and requirements. Key Responsibilities Complete service reports, timesheets, job sheets, and recommendations accurately and on time in accordance with laid down procedures. Promote the company to secure opportunities for additional work. Repair broken-down equipment under emergency call out schemes. Support system commissioning and training activities. Carry out equipment and system installation work at customer sites. Complete appropriate risk assessment and method statement paperwork before commencing work. Maintain good professional working relationships with all existing and new customers. Participate in the Call Out Rota as required. Maintain company vehicle in accordance with guidelines. Ensure company property is always secure, and that theft or abuse of company property is reported to the relevant authorities. Provide feedback on any product design features causing maintenance or operational difficulties. Ensure ongoing compliance with the company s environmental procedures. Ensure ongoing compliance with company s Health and Safety procedures. To always comply with relevant on-site health and safety requirements. Submit expenses in accordance with company policy and ensure that expense documentation for team is detailed, documented, signed off before submitting to Finance. Skills and Experience Familiar with compressed air equipment, its associated controls and its service and maintenance requirements. Professional approach to work. You will combine an engineering qualification with excellent interpersonal and IT skills and a desire to deliver world-class customer service through the provision of quality workmanship. Awareness of electrical/electronic and PLC controlled systems and their testing and repair. Good communicator. Specific Skills / Qualifications Mechanical or electromechanical skills training or Apprenticeship Ability to work with both low pressure and high-pressure machines. Previous experience in a similar job function in a related field. The individual will need to obtain site clearance for a number of high profile sites and pass a DBS check.
