Stores Operative Working Hours: Mon 08 30 Tues Thurs - 08 30 Salary: £12.21 per hour PAYE ReeVR Talent are working with a fast-paced manufacturing business who are committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. As a the Stores Operative you will play a key function within the production process, the Stores Operative will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations in both stores and despatch, maintaining efficient material handling, and supporting inventory management. Key Responsibilities as the Stores Operative: Stores Responsibilities: Receive goods from suppliers and ensure they are correctly booked into the system. Put away stock in designated locations as per Stores processes and the company ERP system. Accurately reflect material movements in the ERP system (goods receipting, stock put-away, job picking, etc.) to ensure real-time stock transactions. Participate in regular cycle counts and stock-checking activities. Assist with inventory queries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Despatch Responsibilities: Package and crate machinery and spares for customers as required. Maintain appropriate levels of packing materials to meet despatch demands. Ensure all relevant despatch paperwork is completed and distributed accurately. Support the Assembly team during periods of absence or staff holidays. Use the company ERP system to reflect machine and spares despatches. Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in stores, warehouse, or despatch operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ERP systems and the ability to reflect accurate stock transactions. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate across different functions. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to raise and resolve queries effectively. Strong communication skills and ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately.
