Transport Technology Engineer (ANPR) Field Based - Cambridgeshire £35,000 to £40,000 per year (+ Vehicle + Overtime) Plus excellent company benefits and incentives The Opportunity: Due to increased workload our client is looking for a Transport Technology Maintenance Engineer to cover the installation and maintenance (servicing, repairing and replacing) of their camera systems in the Cambridgeshire region. This will involve conducting maintenance and repair on a variety of roadside electronic equipment within your patch (CCTV, ANPR, Sensors, etc.), with the majority of this work being conducted on the side of motorways and at heights. Ideally you will come from a background dealing with roadside technology, either in urban areas or on the UK motorway network. Systems Test Technician Southampton, Hampshire (Office-Based) £38,000 to £42,000 per year Plus excellent company benefits and incentives The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly capable Systems Technician with a strong electronic background and hands-on experience working with technical systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating standard workshop test equipment, following structured procedures, and assisting with system diagnostics to board level. You will have the ability to conduct comprehensive testing on electronic components create step by step test documentation. Training will be provided to cover any gaps in IT knowledge, but a working understanding of various aspects of IT, including traditional IP Networks, troubleshooting software and fault-finding hardware issues would be highly beneficial. Skills and Experience: A background in testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting electronics at board level A solid understanding of system-level interactions and basic circuit behaviour Experience of creating step by step test documents A keen interest or exposure to dealing with software issues (operating systems, config files) Experience use key electronic test equipment, including: Digital Voltmeter (DVM) Bench Power Supply (PSU) Oscilloscope NB: Candidates must be able to pass basic criminal background checks before commencing in this role. IT Support Technician Watford, Hertfordshire c£27,000 per year Plus company benefits (including 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, Pension, Healthcare, etc.) Skills and Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office and Active Directory is essential. Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the school's computer systems, including hardware and software. Install and test network infrastructure equipment such as Switches, Routers, Servers and associated cabling.
