Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Marshall / Gateman to join our team on a busy construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling vehicle movements, ensuring site access is managed efficiently, and maintaining a safe working environment for staff, visitors, and the public. Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage the movement of vehicles entering and leaving the site Ensure safe loading and unloading of deliveries Maintain clear communication with drivers, site management, and operatives Monitor site access points and ensure only authorised personnel enter Log deliveries and visitor entries accurately Assist with general site duties when required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Report any incidents, hazards, or near misses to site management Requirements: Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman ticket (e.g., CPCS or NPORS) Previous experience in a similar role on construction sites Strong awareness of health and safety practices Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain alert and focused in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
