Power Fence Installers UK Wide (x2 Roles) Locations: UK Wide - Midlands or Central UK based as involves national travel Salary: up to £38,000 + Overtime + Benefits We are currently recruiting for two experienced Power Fence Installers to join a specialist security and access control engineering team working across critical national infrastructure sites throughout the UK. These are field-based roles supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical security systems across a wide range of high-security environments including utilities, energy, telecommunications, water, and defence infrastructure. The roles are UK-wide due to national contract coverage, therefore candidates must be comfortable with regular travel. These positions would ideally suit engineers based centrally to support efficient nationwide coverage. Key Responsibilities: Installation and testing of electrical power fence systems Installation and integration of CCTV and access control systems Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical security systems Working on critical infrastructure sites including substations, power stations, telecoms sites, water facilities, and MOD environments Liaising with clients, site teams, architects, and project managers Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with specification Supporting commissioning and system handover activities Completion of site documentation, asset tagging, and reporting Managing van stock and equipment requirements Supporting wider engineering teams where required Requirements: Strong electrical installation and fault-finding experience Background in security systems, power fencing, CCTV, or access control Ability to use test equipment including digital multimeters Comfortable working in high-security and regulated environments Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a field-based team Good communication skills when working with clients and site stakeholders Basic IT literacy for reporting and documentation Desirable Experience: Experience with Gallagher systems or similar platforms Background in utilities, infrastructure, or critical security sectors Experience supporting commissioning or training activities Additional Information: These are UK-wide roles due to national contract requirements, with regular travel expected. Security Systems Engineer (Commissioning) Location: UK Wide (Field-Based) Salary: £45,000 £50,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Systems Engineer with strong commissioning experience across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and perimeter security systems. This is a UK-wide field-based role focused on commissioning integrated electronic security systems across commercial and high-security environments. The ideal candidate will have strong commissioning capability and experience working with complex security system integration. Gate Automation Engineer (2 Roles South UK) Locations: Reading / Surrey Borders & Sussex / Kent Salary: £40,000 £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits We are currently recruiting for two experienced Gate Automation Engineers to join a specialist field engineering team supporting contracts across the UK. These are mobile roles covering the installation, service, maintenance, and commissioning of automated gate systems across commercial and industrial sites. One engineer will ideally be based around Reading / Surrey , and the second within Sussex / Kent . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are confident working independently on customer sites, delivering high-quality technical work, and representing the business professionally in the field. Key Responsibilities Installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of automated gate systems Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair Testing, inspection, and commissioning of systems on site Completion of engineering reports, documentation, and site records Asset tagging and system registration Ordering of parts and equipment where required Liaising with clients and site representatives Ensuring compliance with RAMS, safety procedures, and industry standards Reporting defects, incidents, and health & safety concerns Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota Occasional UK travel depending on project requirements Requirements Proven experience in gate automation or similar electro-mechanical engineering role Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience producing accurate engineering documentation and reports Customer-facing experience with good communication skills Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home Basic IT literacy for reporting and system use Package Salary £40,000 £45,000 (depending on experience) Paid overtime 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 5% employer pension contribution Company van and fuel card provided Call-out rota with additional earnings potential Additional Information These are primarily regional roles within the South East , however due to the nature of country wide contracts, there may occasionally be a requirement to travel further afield to support project delivery. In the longer term, the positions will become fully regionally focused , providing engineers with a stable localised patch once contract structures are fully established.
