Shape the business financial strategy: Your work on cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and reporting improvements will streamline operations and directly impact profitability. Take charge of statutory accounts: Lead year-end accounts and tax pack preparations, managing audits and ensuring full compliance. Drive process improvements: Your proactive approach will shape the future of the finance function, making it more efficient and agile. Collaborate across the business: Work with both finance and non-finance teams, helping the company make data-driven decisions that boost performance. Who you are: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with minimum of 2 years experience in industry. Proven experience in group consolidation, management reporting, and financial control. Strong technical skills and confidence in preparing statutory accounts and dealing with auditors. Commercially aware, analytical, and comfortable liaising with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset and attention to detail. Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in ERP systems (Sage 200 is a bonus). Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a passion for continuous improvement. About the Role As a Trainee Technician, you ll play a key role in supporting our depot operations and delivering exceptional service to customers. Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, plus out-of-hours on-call on a rota basis. Work: Deliver and set up portable traffic lights, collect equipment, perform on-site battery exchanges, and inspect/repair our hire fleet. Travel: You ll visit customer sites using a company vehicle - so a full driving licence is essential . This is a physically demanding role, outdoors in all weather conditions. If you enjoy being active and working in varied environments, you ll thrive here. What We re Looking For A team player but who is comfortable with working independently. Full UK driving licence (max 6 points). Practical, resourceful, and safety conscious. Physically fit and ready for hands-on work. Comfortable with technology and eager to learn.
