With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the South Coast, they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for construction projects Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Producing accurate take-offs and pricing schedules Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations Identifying value engineering opportunities Attending tender review meetings and client presentations where required Working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams Assessing project risks and opportunities Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners Supporting the business in securing profitable new work The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working as an Estimator for a main contractor Experience pricing projects within sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare or residential Strong understanding of construction processes and cost planning Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office A proactive and organised approach to work Relevant construction qualification (preferred but not essential) How to apply: If you are an experienced Estimator looking for a new opportunity with a growing main contractor in Bournemouth, please apply with an up to date CV or contact us for a confidential discussion. We are working with a leading main contractor who are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in delivering care home projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business known for its high-quality builds, attention to detail, and repeat client base. The Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects to time, budget, and quality standards. You will manage subcontractors, maintain excellent health & safety compliance, and liaise closely with clients, consultants, and your project team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the construction of care home projects from groundworks through to handover. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to maintain quality and progress. Ensure strict compliance with H&S regulations. Chair and contribute to progress meetings, providing clear updates to stakeholders. Maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded. Requirements: Proven experience delivering care home or healthcare projects as Site Manager. Strong technical knowledge and organisational skills. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualifications. Ability to drive programmes and deliver to a high standard. A professional, approachable manner with the ability to manage client interaction effectively.
