Senior Global Procurement Specialist 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Central London) A specialist manufacturing organisation operating within a highly regulated, science-led environment is seeking an experienced Senior Global Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities across Clinical, R&D and Manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences environments to play a key role in ensuring the continuity, compliance and cost-effectiveness of critical materials and specialist services supporting product development and manufacturing. The Role Reporting into the Director of Global Procurement & Sourcing, you will lead sourcing and supplier management activities across a diverse portfolio including clinical trial materials, laboratory consumables, raw materials, reagents, packaging and outsourced testing services. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Research, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Legal and Finance to deliver robust procurement strategies that support operational and regulatory objectives. We are seeking an experienced Migration Lead to lead the migration workstream for a strategic telecom CMDB transformation programme migrating to BMC Helix CMDB. The role will define and execute the migration strategy, oversee migration tooling and cutover planning, and ensure the successful migration of CMDB data, integrations, and operational processes into the target environment. Key Deliverables - End-to-end CMDB Migration Strategy and Roadmap. - Migration wave plan, approach and execution - Migration tooling and automation strategy. - Cutover, rollback and contingency plans. - Migration testing and validation framework. - Environment readiness and deployment plans. - Operational readiness and transition to BAU. Essential Experience - Proven track record leading enterprise-scale CMDB migration programmes. - Strong knowledge of BMC Helix CMDB architecture, datasets, reconciliation and migration approaches. - Experience planning and executing complex data and platform migrations. - Experience managing integration cutovers and API-based architecture. - Telecom OSS transformation experience preferred. - Experience with BMC Helix Discovery, Helix ITSM and related migration tooling.

This role will be responsible for service strategy, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring service excellence across BMC Remedy and BMC Helix environments. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end service strategy, roadmap, and governance for BMC Remedy and BMC Helix. Drive service improvements, platform modernisation, and operational excellence initiatives. Manage third-party vendors, ensuring delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments. Oversee application development, operations, maintenance, and change delivery activities. Ensure service stability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement. Lead and develop the service team, fostering accountability and high performance. Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing priorities, communications, and escalations. Skills & Experience Strong experience leading enterprise IT services, platforms, or business-critical applications.
