Due to an increase in workload within their Water sector, our client, a top Utiility Contractor in the UK have the need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support works which include Water Treatment works, Pumping Station Upgrades and Mains Replacements. Based from their offices near Reading, daily duties will include Populating Monthly report (CVR / DES) - Submitting client AFP - Carry out project procurement - Populating Costs Forecast - Assess supply chain AFP and compiling final account - Costs control and driving up value - Mitigating project risks - Maximising cash collection - Commercial Administration of the project. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and have Water experience gained within the Main Contracting environment. In return, a top day rate is on offer along with an immediate start and minimum 3 month contract which is likely to be extended into 2026! MEICA Project Manager-Water-West London-To 450.00 Per Day Outside IR35 A major client of ours are looking for an MEICA Project Manager to come in and work on their AMP8 Framework in the London region initially assisting on Tenders they have and then going on to work on the projects themselves which are Water Treatment works and the MEICA side of these. Due to the award of a major Water related scheme in the South West, our client, a top regional Civil Engineering Contractor has the need for a General Foreman to support a Pumping Station Construction scheme. The works involve the construction and refurbishment of pumping stations, M&E and MEICA works, confined space works, over pumping and dewatering works. This role is to supervise the main design and build works to two pumping stations, the MEICA and M&E elements are subcontract works, and the civils element will be self-delivery. Other duties will include overseeing labour and contractors on site, health & safety, daily diary and attending regular progress meetings with the client. To be considered, you will have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS and will also have experience in the Water sector and ideally on Pumping Station schemes within this.
