Clients range from independents to global retailers. We're seeking a Contract Design Technician with strong SolidWorks and sheet metal experience to support a fast-paced engineering project. You'll be responsible for creating and updating 2D and 3D component drawings, streamlining assemblies, and managing CAD libraries. Responsibilities, but are not limited to Creating and updating 3D component models (mainly parts, some sheet metal, and basic wiring) Creating and updating 2D schematics for these parts Linking CAD models with spreadsheets to manage component configurations Collaborating with engineers and project leads through daily or twice-daily iterative reviews Assisting in preparing drawings for potential outsourcing Experiences required Proficiency in SolidWorks, including sheet metal design Experience in 2D drafting and assembly modelling Strong understanding of component configuration and logical CAD workflows Ability to work with structured spreadsheets to manage part families and reduce duplication

We're seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with advanced SolidWorks skills to support critical project delivery.
